Nice! I've been looking forward to seeing this movie for awhile, so when I saw this movie I was pleasantly surprised that it lived up to my expectations. I personally loved the all the pop art sound effects and the all the fight scenes. This movie is definitely making it to my blue ray collection.

You references the hidden Mickeys in a logical way. You are now beyond awesome in my eyes. You're now UBER awesome. I have yet to see Scott Pilgrim, but seeing how I adore the books, even overtaking my hatred in most anything in a manga style, I think I'm hooked no matter what happens.

This film is really made for our generation and that's why I think it's special. Now, I really hope video games can be considered as art.

I watched the first episode on iPlayer this morning and I really liked it. I've never really watched doctor who before. Tennant's doctor kind of bugged me for some reason. I think it was because like everything he said sounded so smarmy. but I really loved the first episode. It just seems a lot less campy than the previous 2 series for some reason.

Regarding the TARDIS and sonic screwdriver changes - I think with every previous Doctor regen, the internals of the TARDIS has changed too, except from the 9th to the 10th. And the 10th Doctor was the first one to have a sonic screwdriver. Remember the woman that had the better sonic screwdriver? I figured eventually the Doctor would have to get an upgrade, right?

If you are looking for constancy, just look at the outside of the TARDIS - that has NEVER changed. ;)

I was really surprised at Matt Smith. As with the crowd I bashed him, the tennent lookalike and the fact he wasn't David Tennent.
But from the first few episodes he has captivated me to seeing him in a different light.
Btw I agree with you there, Rose was also my favourite companion. None of the other ones hold a light to her.

I enjoyed the episode also, I enjoyed Matt Smith as well. But I am going to have a drinking game if Geronimo sticks as a catch phrase. But the new song is crap and the new logo I'm still don't know if I like yet. Any way hopefully this series stays good.

love the fact that you like it and that im not the only 1 that liked him after just one episode. there was one particular sequence near the end of episode 1 that cemented his intro as the doctor. and i think every1 knows what 1 im talking about. episide 2 is good too and is continuing the fairy tale theme, this is 1 story that i dont wanna wake up from though. good on stephen moffat
